The ADSIA Group of Companies started in May 1983 when Alpha Distribution Systems, Inc. (ADSI) was incorporated into a company that served the physical distribution requirements of Johnson & Johnson (Phils.), Inc., market leader of personal care products.  ADSI’s  business was to collect finished products of Johnson & Johnson from their factory in Metro Manila, store them in strategically located warehouses in the cities of Cebu, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and Davao

and deliver them on time to more than a hundred sales outlets in Visayas and Mindanao.  The service included invoicing, credit and collection, management information reports and sales analysis.

In 1990, Adsia Group decided to put up an alternative logistics company to Alpha Distribution Systems. The objective is to position a company that is national in scope rather than regional, low overhead, low margin operator but all the core values and orientation of a Best In Class Logistics provider.

The opportunity  arise when California Manufacturing Corporation, the makers of Ladies Choice and Best Food lines approached Adsia to organize a physical distribution company suited to their needs. Thus, by early 1990, Adsia logistics was established at Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Zamboanga, Naga, and Urdaneta Pangasinan and Metro Manila. They were known then as K North. The initial network of warehouses and the proven track record of excellent delivery service and inventory accuracy, made Adsia Logistics known in the consumer industry through word of mouth advertising. Within a period of five (5) years, Adsia logistics acquired, among others, Century Canning Corporation and participated in the growth of the 555 sardines.

Other clients followed,  Van Melle, makers of Mentos candies, Warner Lambert, Columbus Foods, Southeast Asia Food, makers of Datu Puti, Inbisco Phils., makers of Kopiko candies, Unilab Nutritionals – milk line, Selecta Walls/Unilever RFM Ice Cream, Merisant Sweetener Phils, Exxon Mobil  Philippines and  other small consumer companies. In 1997, Del Monte Philippines took notice of the company and commissioned the company to create a nationwide logistics service to their quality products. Today, Adsia Logistics operates in all key cities in the Philippines, making the company as the only 3^rd party logistics provider with national presence.
